OUR FLIGHT PROGRAM
1. Arrival to Take Off Area
After the passenger registration process, guests are transferred to the take-off area — a unique location with scenic views of Akagera National Park or the surrounding Rwandan valleys. During the journey, passengers can enjoy the lush, misty morning landscape.
Upon arrival at the site, guests are welcomed with light refreshments, including tea, coffee, juice, and assorted snacks. This thoughtful hospitality offers a gentle and warm start to the experience while guests observe the balloon’s preparation process.
As the balloon is laid out and gradually inflated, our pilots provide a brief pre-flight briefing, sharing essential information and safety tips. The excitement builds as passengers witness the final preparations before their extraordinary adventure begins.
2. Inflation & Take Off
Upon arrival at the take-off area, the inflation process of the hot air balloon begins. Using large fans and hot air, the balloon is carefully inflated and gradually prepared for flight. During this time, guests can closely observe the fascinating process of balloon preparation. Once the balloon is fully inflated, passengers board the basket, and final safety checks are completed. 3. Balloon Tour
